Information on flights to the Middle East
Middle East
After several months of suspended services, Eurowings is preparing to gradually restart selected flights to the Middle East. The security situation in the relevant regions has stabilised in recent weeks. Based on ongoing security assessments and in close coordination with experts from the Lufthansa Group and Eurowings, we are currently planning to resume the following routes:
Erbil (EBL) from 1 July
Beirut (BEY) from 1 July
Tel Aviv (TLV) from 10 July
We expect to resume the remaining Middle East destinations in autumn.
Resuming these connections is an important step for Eurowings. Routes to Beirut, Erbil and Tel Aviv are highly important to many of our guests, with many travelling to visit family and friends. With this restart, we are bringing back direct connections to key destinations in our network.
The safety of our guests and crews remains our top priority at all times. We will continue to monitor and assess the situation continuously. All operational decisions are made based on the latest security assessment.
